Can You Sit Too Close to a 4K TV?

Yes, you can sit too close to a 4K TV in two separate ways. Below roughly one times the diagonal, individual pixels become visible on high-contrast content, and above a 40-degree viewing angle the screen grows too wide to take in without swiveling your head.

The one nuance is panel type, not brand. OLED holds color and contrast better when you sit off to the side, so it affects your usable viewing angle, not your distance, while LED and QLED narrow a little at extreme angles.
