Tech Junctions

Reach the readers who're actually buying TVs.

Tech Junctions is the independent home of US TV intent — buying, setting up, fixing, caring for. We work with a small number of brand partners each quarter, with editorial control we don't negotiate.

Who reads Tech Junctions

Readers in a decision window.

Our readers arrive from Google with a specific TV question and a same-session decision to make. We cover four moments in the ownership lifecycle — buying, setting up, fixing, and caring for a television — and we cover only those four.

  • 01 · Buy

    About-to-buy shoppers

Comparing models, sizes, panel types, and last year's prices before the same-day click to Amazon or Best Buy.

    Sample query

    best 65 inch tv 2026

  • 02 · Set up

    New-owner setup

Wall-mount stud spacing, HDMI 2.1 cable sanity, picture-mode picks for movies vs sports vs gaming.

    Sample query

  • 03 · Fix

    Something just broke

Brand-modified troubleshooting after a firmware update, a black screen, or a remote that stopped pairing.

    Sample query

    samsung tv won't turn on

  • 04 · Care

    Long-term ownership

Cleaning OLED coatings, dust management, calibration drift, picking accessories that won't damage the panel.

    Sample query

Coverage stops at the television itself. We write about buying, setup, calibration, troubleshooting, care, and the accessories that pair with TVs — not TV shows, streaming catalogues, cable subscriptions, projectors, or AV receivers. Pitches in those categories are declined at the first email.

Why partners choose us

The trust stack you're buying into.

A partnership is only as valuable as the publication's credibility on the day it ships. Three pillars protect that credibility — each backed by a public policy a buyer can audit before signing.

  1. 01

    Independent

    No retail or manufacturer ownership.

Owned by its editors. No holding company, no retailer parent, no manufacturer stake.

Every editorial pick is chosen on merit, and we publish that decision on the byline — alongside the senior editor who signed off. Partnerships do not change picks.

  2. 02

    Tested

Hands-on work behind every product mention.

    Konica Minolta CA-410 · Murideo Six-G · Spears & Munsil UHD HDR.

Picture-quality numbers come off the colorimeter. Calibration settings come out of a documented internal log. We never reproduce a manufacturer claim we haven't verified — and we say so in writing.

    How we test
  3. 03

    Transparent

    Disclosure on every paid placement.

“Paid Partnership” label above the H1 · public corrections log · named bylines on every article.

Sponsored work is labelled before the reader scrolls. The sponsorship policy spells out exactly what a sponsor can and cannot influence, and every substantive correction lands in a public log.

Editorial guardrails

Where we draw the line.

We turn down roughly one inquiry in four. The two columns below are the reason — they protect the readership you're paying to reach.

We will

  • Publish honest writing that helps readers reach a decision.
  • Fact-check your specifications against your own published documentation.
  • Label every paid placement clearly, above the H1.
  • Deliver promised impressions and reporting on schedule.
  • Renew partnerships where the work was good.

We won't

  • Change an editorial pick in exchange for payment.
  • Remove a competitor's mention from a best-of guide.
  • Accept a sponsored article that contradicts our public testing.
  • Hide the “Sponsored” or “Paid Partnership” label.
  • Include affiliate links in a sponsored article.

Common requests we decline

  • Backlink-only requests on the homepage or category pages.
  • Sponsored content that presents medical, legal, or financial advice as editorial.
  • Cryptocurrency, online gambling, or adult-content sponsors.
  • Replacing an existing editorial pick with the sponsor's product.
  • Removing a critical mention of the sponsor's product from existing content.

Tech Junctions

We launched in 2024 to build a US TV publication that doesn't owe anything to a manufacturer, a retailer, or a holding company. Partnering with us right now is a chance to help shape what an independent publication's ad program looks like — and to lock in early-partner terms before traffic catches up to the editorial program.

If you're curious whether your product is a fit, send a brief and you'll hear back from me directly within two business days.

Submit a brief

Tell us what you're trying to do.

The basics are enough — we'll come back with a proposal, a price, and a publication date. If we're not a fit, we'll say so plainly.

Frequently asked

The short version.

If your question isn't here, put it in the brief and we'll answer it in our reply.

Ready when you are

Put your TV in front of the readers who buy.

Two business days from your brief to our proposal. The editor-in-chief reads every inquiry himself — no autoresponders, no junior salesperson.
