Daniel has owned every generation of LG OLED since the B6 launched in 2016, and the burn-in test rig running in his basement has logged over 14,000 hours across four generations of WRGB panels. A former broadcast-IT engineer for a Chicago ABC affiliate, he brings a signal-chain obsession to reviews: he traces Dolby Vision handoffs, measures input lag with a Leo Bodnar tester, and tears down webOS builds the week they ship. Daniel leads Tech Junctions' LG coverage, including the OLED picture-settings guide that's become our most-cited article. He's particularly dogged about firmware regression reporting - when an LG update breaks Filmmaker Mode or G-Sync, he's usually the first in the press channel with receipts. Outside of panel reviews he mentors broadcast engineering apprentices through the SBE Chicago chapter.
