Maya Chen
Maya Chen is the care & lifecycle editor at Tech Junctions. She covers cleaning, maintenance, lifespan, and the small habits that decide whether a TV looks great in year five or starts showing wear in year two. Maya came to consumer-electronics journalism from materials and home-care reporting; her previous work covered anti-reflective coatings, microfiber chemistry, isopropyl-vs-distilled-water cleaning debates, and the difference between household-cleaner labels and what the labels actually mean for delicate surfaces. At Tech Junctions, she leads every panel-type cleaning method, runs the "what not to use" defensive content, and partners with display engineer Priya Iyer on OLED burn-in prevention. Her own TV is a 65-inch LG OLED she has owned since 2021 and which she cleans, on a documented schedule, with two specific products she keeps in a labeled box behind it. She lives in the US Midwest.
